Instructions on the Right of Withdrawal

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Custom-Made Goods

Pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs.

This applies in particular to wall murals and other custom-made printed products that are manufactured specifically for you according to the dimensions you provide, a selected image crop, individual positioning or scaling, a personal configuration, or a file provided by you.

For these products, there is no statutory right of withdrawal once production has begun.

The following instructions on the right of withdrawal apply exclusively to goods that have not been custom-made or personalized and for which a statutory right of withdrawal exists.

 

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day:

  • on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods;

  • in the case of several goods ordered as part of a single order and delivered separately, on which you, or a third party designated by you, took possession of the last item;

  • in the case of delivery in several partial shipments or pieces, on which you, or a third party designated by you, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example by letter or email.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below for this purpose. However, use of the form is not mandatory.

If available on our website, you may also submit your withdrawal using the electronic withdrawal function provided there. Upon receipt of your withdrawal, you will immediately receive confirmation that your declaration has been received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

 

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any additional fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
